Rocketeer Catch-Up post by Rev. Dave

Well, since I wasn't a member of Comic-Twart when this subject was chosen, I figured I'd make up for that fact with not one, but two Rocketeer sketches from the past.

Princess Bride/Peter Falk by Rev. Dave Johnson

Well, it's funny that this was this week's pick. Just last month a guy asked me to draw something from The Princess Bride at the Boston Comic-Con so I drew Peter Falk. I don't have time to generate something new, so this will have to do. Something is better than nothing I suppose.

Wolfman Jack by Rev. Dave Johnson

Felt like doing something other than the obvious. Not that obvious is bad, but like the MMA week, wanted to think outside of the box. Plus I always loved his hair. What a guy.

Congrats to Dave Johnson!

Hey everyone!

I hope you'll all join me in congratulating our own Dave Johnson, who has been nominated for an Eisner Award this year in the category of Best Cover Artist!

Dave is an amazing artist, and we couldn't be more proud that he's part of Comic Twart!

Plastic-man is a perv. by Rev. Dave Johnson

And a little stupid, haha. Side note, I felt like drawing my friend Marina. Although I'm not sure she would mind owning a "man-suit".

DOOM PATROL by Dave Johnson

Man, I hope I'm doing this right. Probably not because I learned everything from Dan Panosian. And as we all know, I'd probably have been better off asking a monkey. Hope I passed muster on this first submission to Comic Twart.
