THE ROCKETEER by Evan Shaner

Steve picked an awesome theme this week. I think any kid who grew up in the 90's thought that The Rocketeer was one of the coolest movies ever. I know I put myself in that category. Finding the great comic that inspired it later was fantastic.

great work evan.
i agree with tom,
excellent use of color.

Love the color, love the faux zip-a-tone, and LOVE the way you put black on a page. More, please!

Great zipatone effect: it looks a page straight off from a 50s comicbook :D Love it, Evan :)

Damn, Evan! This is fucking classic! Very nice!

That's lovely man; the tone, the colours, everything. You really played up the Pulp in a nice way.

Way to go, Evan!! This is lovely!!

This might be the best poster for a non existent animated Rocketeer movie, ever!

Always in awe of your work, Shaner.

Amazing, Evan, totally amazing!

I like the clean, animated style on this. I've got my hand raised high in the air... anybody else out there who'd kill to see a Rocketeer animated series?

One of my favorites! Wow!
