I LOVED drawing this guy.

There's a black and white version on my blog.

This is perfect, Dan. You nailed the character and brought me back to when I first saw it!

Love the way the eye is directed from Torpedo's face to the "BLAM". And I think you're the first to incorporate one of the fundamental parts of Torpedo: pretty girls.

Thanks, guys. I did another one that I'll probably put on the blog - a larger pic, with a few more details, but WAY too laboured. This was an early sketch I decided to work up - it beats the final piece into a cocked (fedora) hat.

Anyway - cheers again!

Wow - so expressive with such inviting shapes and fluid mark making.

This is one of those pieces I need to keep in mind as a reminder to stay loose.

My favorite of the week!

Beautiful. Captures the spirit and the Bernet style. Brushwork is gorgeous

Dan, this is so good that I don't want this story to end with just this panel. There's gotta be more!
