NICK FURY by Andy Kuhn

I don't know what comics these guys have been reading.
In the Nick Fury comics I read, he wore a rubber suit,
carried a big gun, and shot the shit out of anything that moved!
And he did it all while standing in front of a bunch of crazy patterns.
Now THAT'S Nick Fury......Ya feel me!

PS - If you're coming to San Diego Comic-Con this week
stop by booth #2729 and say howdy.
I'll have sketchbooks, prints, and art for sale.

First, this is absolutely awesome! Love it.

Second, I thought the same thing about Nick. The 60's were a bit before my time, but I imagine Steranko's version with the black ruber suit with all the pouches and trippy patterned backgrounds when I think Nick fury of that era. That's the version I started, but haven't finished yet.

Not to diminish what the fellas have done, which has been amazing.

Everyone's been going full D. Cooke and Steranko on this and it's been great! But I can't get enough of Nick Fury in Battle Gear! Rock on Andy! Your drum beat works for me!

I read the 60's Nick Fury back in the 60's and this is what I'm talking about too! Well done, Andy. Love the splatter (next best thing to some zip-a-tone) on the great twat title!

KICKASS!!!! Really dig the action :D
And I totally agree: the gear is what comes to mind when I think of Fury ;)

Have fun in SD, my friend :)

Cheers,
Francesco

We're just working on some revisionist history. The rest of us aren't old enough to have read Fury in the 60's you know. ;)
