TARZAN by Steve Bryant

Big Edgar Rice Burroughs fan here, so I was thrilled that Mitch chose John Clayton, Lord Greystoke, for this week's Twart! I was even happier because I have time to contribute.

This one also functions as my (ketchup) Frazetta Tribute, as there's been no one that has captured the enormity of Burroughs' jungle scenes as Frank.

In the words of the Mangani tribe, and Kala's most famous son in particular, Kreegah bundolo!

Great composition in this one. I love how you drew the branch. Really lush work.

For some reason I'm having trouble with the vine, like it should be in front of him instead of behind.

I love this a hell of a lot, though!
